Isabel Kwon, cello
Isabel Kwon comes from Okemos, Michigan and plays with Atlanta Symphony after seasons with Cincinnati Symphony and New World Symphony. She is currently a doctoral candidate at Indiana University and was teaching assistant for Eric Kim up until her appointment to NWS. Kwon graduated with a Bachelor of Music from the University of Michigan with Richard Aaron, and a Master of Music at The Juilliard School with Timothy Eddy. Outside the genre of classical, she has a passion for performing tango and has been a part of the Stowe Tango Music Festival since 2016.
