Edgewood String Quartet

In September 2020, in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Edgewood String Quartet was founded in order to perform Covid-safe, socially distanced and masked performances during a time when no other live performances were to be heard. Since then, ESQ has become one of the first of its kind in the Southeast - a quartet that performs not only classical music, but music of all genres: from pop to jazz to anime to rock, and more.

ESQ is dedicated to breaking down the wall between performers and audience, and classical and non-classical music. They specialize in curating immersive, accessible, and unique concert experiences in collaboration with artists of other mediums and fields, providing concert experiences where the audience can enjoy themselves without worrying about "rules" while being transported through the music and atmosphere.

ESQ has been a featured performer at the 2022 National Cherry Blossom Festival, Atlanta Symphony Hall, Atlanta Botanical Gardens, The Works ATL, Pullman Yards, and in Fever’s Candlelight Concerts in Atlanta. Collaborations include immersive concerts with the Imagine Picasso exhibit, starting the “Tasting Notes” concert series which marries a multi-course meal with a correlating multi-part music program, a live music and dance concert in partnership with Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre, and more. They recently released their debut album “Peaches”, available on all streaming platforms.
